    Wizart colors Yellow oxide (Synthetic Hydrated Iron Oxide) is part of the earth tone family of pigments.
    Oil paints and watercolors using PY42 exist in almost any shade of yellow, orange, red and brown. Ours is a Strong Yellow with brown undertones.
    Yellow Oxide is somewhat more opaque and less red then yellow ocher. The Yellow Oxide pigment has an excellent Lightfastness and durability grade. Good for oils, water base colors, encaustic and acrylics. Lime and cement Color Stable. Also known as Golden Ocher and Mars Yellow.
