    Description

    F&B Foster and Bailey Antique Sterling Silver Calling Card Case Purse also for money and coins
    Leather interior. Center compartment has a latch that opens.
    Monogram on front. Borders decorated with leave motif. Chain intact and clip is strong. Some wear in keeping with age. Small dings on back.
    Approximate measurements: 3 1/2" x 2 3/4". 90g
    I believe the Initials engraved are IM for Irene Murrie.
    Note inside states that 'this card case from mother to Irene'.
    After working out the family tree from other items, I found Irene was born Oct 4, 1875 to James McAden Murrie and Laura Flippen Murrie in Danville, VA where she lived her entire life.
