    Description

    This card case is a beautiful example of fine silversmithing in England in the 1700's. The F mark indicate it was made in 1778. The top fits wonderfully onto the case. A lovely S is engraved on the bottom. Yes, there are a few dings and the top has a slight crack but that is evidence of the love and wear that the user once possessed! The inside is gold gilded. This is a lovely piece of history by Deakin & Francis. I hope you will enjoy this item!
